Therapy Bod

The Therapy Bod website design was built for Miles Mitchell-Coop who is a sports therapist based in the Barnet and North Finchley areas.

This is what Miles says about himself:

I became interested in musculoskeletal injuries, fitness and rehabilitation during my time as a professional footballer where I experienced first-hand, the pain and frustration of being injured. In 2009, i suffered a career threatening injury which resulted in me missing a period of time off the pitch. Undergoing intense rehabilitation and treatment following knee reconstruction surgery in 2010 gave me an insight into the practices of a sports therapist.

I made the transition from a patient to a therapist as i qualified as a Personal Trainer and then went on to gain a BSc Sports Therapy degree (Hons.) at the University of Hertfordshire.

I am a member of the Society of Sports Therapists (MSST) and understand the needs of those ranging from the professional athlete to the amateur sportsperson and gym enthusiast.

I have gained valuable experience through working in the University of Hertfordshire Sports Therapy Clinic, as well as covering major sporting events such as the London Marathon, Harlow Race for Life and assisting the head therapist at Northampton Saints Rugby Club during rehabilitation sessions and recovery days.

With years of experience treating various clients from professional athletes to office workers, I am a proficient practitioner, with passion to provide treatments to suit the individual client’s needs.

I am also the current the Head Sports therapist for National League outfit Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club.
